Travel, write, and eat with Jordan

Helllo to my captive audience, and welcome to my brand new blog. Is blogging still a thing? Or has the world all gone to influencer posts on Tik Toks?

Well, since I’m not trying to become an influencer, and certainly don’t expect to attract thousands of followers, I’m riding with this thing anyway.

I’m Jordan. Talent Acquisition by day. Sometimes strongman. Solo traveler. Avid reader. Wannabe writer.

A few years ago I decided to start planning a solo trip each year. I wanted to become more worldly, learn about new cultures, and most of all have more experiences.

As I move quickly throughy my mid 30s, if there is one thing that I’ve learned it’s this: life is short, and when you can, you need to do what makes you happy and experience it!

Cliche I know. But that doesn’t make it any less true.

Now why am I writing this blog? Well I thought it would be a fun way to share my solo journeys with friends and family, as well as force me to get some writing in. I enjoy telling stories, and I’m excited to share them with you.

.But in a way, I’m doing this just as much for myself. I figure this is a good way to keep a log of things that I can look back to, and in some way, also force me to do interesting things and have profound thoughts along the way.

With that all being said, let’s get started.
